What’s been happening:

My companion of 64 years Jeannie Ogden [Biochemistry 1944] died Feb.2005. There is much about our life together in my Autobiography at www.johncairns.net--therethere are also a number of photos including Jeannie's memorial service at one of her favorite Alpine Lakes [see photo section at website]. I am still publishing and may reach 1,600 in 2009--I have 3 more to go. My time in Showalter Assist. Living Home is spent writing and walking [with the aid of a walker] when there is no rain or snow. I still chat with Kathy Brady [nee Osgood] who was Jeannie's roommate in Grange Dorm. One daughter, Karen, now lives in Blacksburg; oldest son Stefan in Warrensburg,MO; son, Duncan is in Tallahassee, FL; daughter, Heather Chambers is in Ann Arbor, MI.
